national teacher appreciation week may 4-8

At the Kokomo Public Schools Education Foundation, we know it takes every single member of the KSC team to keep our schools thriving. As we enter the first week of May, we are honored to shine a bright spotlight on the heart of our classrooms.

It’s National Teacher Appreciation Week!

We honor the expertise and commitment you bring to our schools daily. Your dedication shaped the lives of our students and the future of our community, and we are grateful for the vital role you play in the classroom and beyond.

Send a "Thank a Teacher" Note

We invite students, families, and community members to join the celebration! If a current KSC educator has made a difference in your life, please take a moment to "Thank a Teacher." By completing this brief form, you can send a digital note of appreciation directly to an educator's inbox.

These personal gestures often mean the most, and we look forward to sharing your kind words with our Wildkat staff!

Daily Giveaways

To show our gratitude, the Foundation has been working behind the scenes to make this week extra special. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our local business community, we have secured a variety of gift cards for daily giveaways throughout the week.

How it works:

  • Who: Certified Teaching Staff

  • The Prize: Gift cards from frequent favorite local spots

  • The Delivery: Winners will be randomly selected each day, and Foundation Board members will be hand-delivering these prizes in person as a gesture of our thanks.
