Media Arts
Master the Power of Visual and Audio Storytelling
In our highly connected digital landscape, effective communication relies on clear audio, compelling video, and strong design. This pathway is built for creative storytellers and technical producers who want to master professional media tools, developing the skills necessary to produce engaging content for radio, television, streaming, and modern digital platforms.
A Day in the Studio
Our media wing functions exactly like a modern creative agency, digital production house, and broadcast station.
Digital Design and Graphic Art
On the digital design track, you will utilize professional Adobe Creative Suite software, including Photoshop and Illustrator. Your daily work involves collaborating on design briefs to build original commercial logos, illustrations, clothing apparel designs, book jackets, and promotional signs. You will also dive into camera operations, learning lighting techniques, professional photo editing, and the logistics of corporate social media management.
Broadcasting, Podcasting, and Video Content Production
On the production track, you will work directly inside soundproof audio booths, editing bays, and live television sets. Students utilize professional, industry-grade microphones, audio boards, and multi-camera setups to produce high-end programming. Your daily projects include writing scripts, recording and mixing multi-track podcasts, creating digital video content for streaming platforms, and coordinating live radio and television formats. Every project is designed to help you learn the technical side of media layout while tailoring assignments to your specific creative goals.
Where This Path Leads
You will graduate high school with a comprehensive, professional portfolio filled with your original graphic designs, produced podcasts, and edited video content. This portfolio serves as your physical resume, positioning you for direct entry into digital media careers, local marketing agencies, or giving you a significant head start in advanced college programs focusing on communications, journalism, graphic design, or media production.
