Because the Kokomo Area Career Center is structurally integrated within the Kokomo School Corporation, Kokomo High School students enjoy a unique logistical and scheduling advantage.

Through the new Indiana High School Redesign framework, Kokomo High School has aligned its daily master schedule and retained specialized, dual-credentialed academic faculty right on campus. This allows KHS students to seamlessly pair their KACC hands-on lab tracks with the mandatory prerequisite and companion general education coursework required to achieve advanced institutional credentials before high school graduation.

While all area students receive elite technical training at KACC, the synchronized scheduling and on-site credentialed staff at Kokomo High School allow KHS students to systematically earn college-level credentials across multiple pathways.
